Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer. Hosting a BBQ, picnic, or other get together? Since entertaining should never be draining, we thought it would be a fun idea to have all of you share your “go-to” potluck dishes here so we can all be armed and ready with an arsenal of dishes to serve or bring!:) And just to “up the ante” here a bit, we’ll have a vote on Tuesday to see whose dish was most popular and send them a free Scandle Travel Candle in our New Limited Edition Fragrance for Summer: Coconut Kiss!
To kick things off, here’s one of my faves!
Red, White, & Blue Strawberry Shortcake

- 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 pint blueberries, rinsed and drained
- 2 pints fresh strawberries, rinsed and sliced
Directions
- Prepare cake according to package directions and bake in a 9×13 inch pan. Cool completely.
