Why ‘Bath Salts’ Are Dangerous?

Don't confuse 'bath salts' drug with real thing.

Thanks to wild and crazy events like the horrific Miami “Zombie” incident last week where police shot a naked man who was eating another man’s face while high on “bath salts,” Bath Salts in general have been getting a bad name. While Scandle has come out with a new formulation of its Dead Sea Salt Soak and Scrub, we want to assure you that you will not be running around like a naked cannibal if you use our product!;)

The difference? ‘Bath Salts’ that caused the man in Miami to lose his “marbles” are, in fact, packets of synthetic drugs, which were up until last year sold at head shops and tattoo parlors. They contain “analogues” of controlled substances like ecstasy, meaning they’re chemically similar to illegal controlled substances.

Alternately, ‘bath salts’ (like The Scandle Dead Sea Soak & Scrub) have been safely used for millennia and when added to warm bath water have the effect of soothing sore muscular aches and pains and were even recommended in the medical writings of the ancient physician, Hippocrates.

So take this as a Public Service Announcement (PSA) from your friends at Scandle who urge you not to confuse the modern drug jargon term ‘Bath Salts’, which are in reality dangerous narcotics, with the traditional and beneficial bath salts that have been used to promote good health for centuries!;) And if you’re still skeptical…then use our New Scandle Turbinato Sugar Scrub instead…which may only result in a mild “sugar high”! :)
