Scandle® LLC Named As Finalist 2005 Stevie® Awards for Women Entrepreneurs

 Dallas, TX – December 19, 2005 – The Scandle® Body Massage Candle, a body-safe candle that burns to produce a soothing and healthy body oil that can be used to enhance the health of the skin, was named a Finalist today in the Best New Products category in The 2005 (2^nd annual) Stevie Awards for Women Entrepreneurs.

The Stevie Awards for Women Entrepreneurs is an international awards competition recognizing the accomplishments of women executives and business owners.  The awards are produced by the creators of the prestigious American Business Awards, hailed as "the business world's own Oscars" by the New York Post (April 27, 2005). 

 More than 470 entries were submitted for consideration in over 40 categories, including Best Entrepreneur, Best Executive, Best Young Entrepreneur, Best New Product and Mentor of the Year.  The Scandle® was named as a Finalist in the category for Best New Product.

 The elegant Stevie trophy was designed by R. S. Owens, the same company that makes the Oscar and the Emmy.
